Algeciras port toward Morocco

Algeciras, the European quay of the Strait

Andalusian hub to Tangier Med — Tarifa is a different port. FRS, Balearia, AML. Marhaba returns, cars, summer queues. Hamama Voyages Tetouan–Fnideq, CMI planned.

Compare and book

Algeciras concentrates mixed traffic to Tangier Med: FRS, Balearia and AML, about 1.5 hours.

It is also the head of the Ceuta line.

Hamama Voyages helps families coming home and those leaving Andalusia.

This port is not Tarifa: do not pick the wrong maritime station.

August queues, indicative times, no magic fare.

Reaching the port

Trains, buses and the A-7 serve Algeciras. The passenger terminal handles cars and foot traffic; in Marhaba parking and customs queues stretch. From Malaga airport, allow road time; it is not an airport shuttle. For a foot fast ferry, check Tarifa instead.

To Tangier Med or Ceuta

Most returning Moroccans aim at Tangier Med with a vehicle. Ceuta is another queue, another check. AML, FRS and Balearia do not all leave at the same minute: compare on the day. Hamama does not invent an operator missing from the quay.

Book the return to Morocco

From Spain, open search with origin Algeciras. An advisor in Tetouan can close in MAD even if you are still in Andalusia. CMI planned at confirmation. In August, keep a buffer before the posted boarding.
