Ferry at Nador Beni Enzar port

Nador, the eastern gate to Andalusia

Sail from Nador (Beni Enzar) to Almeria or Motril. Armas, AML and Balearia. Moroccan agency in Tetouan–Fnideq, about 5–6 hours, CMI planned.

Compare and book

The Nador–Beni Enzar terminal serves the eastern Rif and northern-Europe Moroccans who skip the Strait.

Hamama Voyages compares Armas, AML and Balearia to Almeria (about 6 hours) and Motril (about 5 hours).

This is not a one-hour shuttle: plan a cabin or seat, a vehicle and Marhaba queues.

We quote averages, not a fare as fact.

Why Nador instead of Tangier

From Oujda, Berkane or Al Hoceima, Nador shortens the Moroccan road. From Belgium, the Netherlands or Germany, Almeria and Motril sit better on the Spanish motorway north than Algeciras. Crossings last half a day: pack for sleep. The terminal is at Beni Enzar, not downtown Nador.

Armas, AML, Balearia

Armas and AML carry much of the vehicle traffic. Balearia appears by season and ship. Almeria has more city connections; Motril opens Granada and the Costa Tropical. Always check the day’s sailing in the Hamama engine: grids change between winter and Marhaba.

Booking from the north

Even with offices in Tetouan and Fnideq, we sell Nador like any partner line. MAD payment, CMI planned. In August, car slots to Almeria go quickly: book early, and do not trust yesterday’s fare.

Frequently asked questions

Nador–Almeria or Nador–Motril?

Almeria toward the Levante and northern Spain; Motril toward Granada and the Costa Tropical. Compare today’s times.

Where is the port?

At Beni Enzar, on the border, not in central Nador.

Do I need a cabin?

On 5–6 hours a seat often suffices by day; a cabin helps at night and with children.

Marhaba in Nador?

Yes. The eastern Rif is a major Marhaba axis. Book the vehicle very early.
